Fine Shimmer Paper Pack

Hi again,

I have used a variety of dies for the flowers & leaves on this card. The card front is from the Fine Shimmer Paper Pack (#160428) and I used the Stitched Greenery die (#155451) to create the stitched leaves.

The stamped flowers are from the Petal Park stamp set (#160571) and stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). The Petal Park Builder Punch (#160576) was used to punch the flowers. There are actually 3 different size flowers on this stamp so I have stamped it 3 times as I wanted all 3 flowers the same size. I added the colour to the centre of the petals using the Melon Mambo Watercolor Pencil from Assortment 1 (#141709) and Gorgeous Grape Watercolor Pencil from Assortment 2 (#149014). I then blended the colour using the Clear Wink Of Stella Brush (#141897).

I used the Silver Foil Specialty Paper (#156457) to cut the leaves and flower. I had Adhesive Sheet (#152334) on the back of the foil. The dies used for these are the Framed Florets (#160623), Around The Bend (#160649), Irresistible Blooms (#161149), Queen Bee (#160484) and Dainty Delight (#160674). I also cut & embossed 2 flowers with the Brushed Bouquet Dies (#160473) from Pearlescent Specialty Paper (#154291). I lightly daubered these flowers with Fresh Freesia ink (#155611). For the small flowers I used the Fresh Freesia from the Fine Shimmer Paper Pack.

The sentiment from the Framed Florets stamp set (#161815) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555), then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This and the silver under the sentiment were cut with Beautiful Shapes Dies (#158046).

Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430), Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and Mini Glue Dots (#103683) were used to attach the sentiment and flowers. Adhesive-Backed Studs (#160767) were added to the card.

Two-Tone Flora

Hello friends,

Sometimes you might not expect to use some colours together but when you see them in a designer paper you realise they do look great together.. that’s how I chose the colours for this card.

The DSP is the Fancy Flora 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#160413) and this was matted with Orchid Oasis card (#159265) and attached to the Basic White base card (#159558).

I dry embossed the Calypso Coral card (#124392) with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder (#154317) and attached this to the card. “Happy Birthday” from the Peaceful Moments stamp set (#151595) was stamped with Orchid Oasis ink (#159214). This and the Orchid Oasis card were cut with Beautiful Shapes Dies (#158046).

The flowers from the Two-Tone Flora stamp set (#160844) were stamped with Orchid Oasis ink. This is a Two-step stamping set, so I stamped the “lines” first, then stamped the full flower using the stamping off method to get a lighter colour. These were cut with the Two-Tone Flora dies (#159181).

The leaves were cut with dies from the Around The Bend (#160649) from Soft Succulent card (#155777) which was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). The sentiment & flowers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The embellishments are the Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#144220) which I coloured with Orchid Oasis Stampin’ Blends (#159223). I used Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) on the flowers.

Adorable Owls

Hello,

How cute are these owls from the Adorable Owls stamp set (#160269) which is a Sale-a-bration product. I have used 3 different sale-a-bration products on this card.

The owls were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#159228). These were coloured with Stampin’ Blends. I used “400” from the Medium Deep Natural Tones (#159461) and “500” from the Medium Natural Tones (#159462), Ivory (#154922), Daffodil Delight (#154883), Bermuda Bay (#154878) and Pumpkin Pie (#154897). The owls and the Bermuda Bay card (#131286) were cut with the Beautiful Shapes Dies (#158046). 

The Day At The Farm Designer Series Paper (#160835) is also a Sale-a-bration product and has been used for the background. This was matted with Bermuda Bay card and attached to the Basic White base card.

The sentiments are from another Sale-a-bration product - Beautifully Happy stamp set (#160804). These were stamped with Bermuda Bay ink (#147096) and cut with a die from the Something Fancy dies (#160424).

The sentiment and owls were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I added glitter to parts of the owls with the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897).

Pretty Pop-Ups dies

Hi again stamping friends,

I have been going through some of my stamps & dies to see what I haven’t used in a while and realised the Pretty Pop-Up Dies (#159179) is one one those so here is the card I made. Very easy.

I used Basic White card (#159228) to cut with the die. I coloured the leaves, flowers and butterflies with Stampin’ Blends. The colours are Granny Apple Green (#154885), Flirty Flamingo (#154884), Daffodil Delight (#154883), Balmy Blue (#154830), Pale Papaya (#155519) & Fresh Freesia (#155518).

This was matted with Daffodil Delight card (#121680), then attached to the Basic White base card. 

“Thank You” is from Celebrating You stamp set (#158028) and stamped with Daffodil Delight ink (#147094). I used a Beautiful Shapes die (#158046) to cut the sentiment. This was attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used to add shimmer to the butterflies and the Iredescent Pearls Basic Jewels (#158987) were added to the butterfly centres and sentiment.

An easy but pretty card.

Blessings Of Home stamp set

Hello friends,

The beautiful floral image from the Blessings Of Home stamp set (#157930) has been gold embossed onto Designer Paper for this lovely subtle card.

I stamped the flowers with VersaMark (#102283) onto the Design A Daydream Designer Series Paper (#159161). This DSP is a host set and great value with 48 sheets in the pack. I used Gold Stampin’ Embossing Powder (#155555) which was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The sentiment from the Artistically Inked stamp set (#154542) was also gold embossed.

The hexagons were cut with Beautiful Shapes Dies (#158046). The gold paper is the Distressed Gold 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#159237). The Gold Foil (#132622) banner was cut with a Stylish Shapes Die (#159183). The hexagons were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

I backed a piece of Petal Pink card (#147009) with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) before cutting with a Flowers Of Home Die (#157938) for the 2 floral stems. Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#158130) were added to finish the card.

Double Gate Fold card

Hello friends,

This Double Gate Fold card is an easy fancy fold card and is a great way to use your bits & pieces of Designer Paper.

The Basic White base card (#159228) measures 15cm x 29cm. I scored at 3.5cm & 9cm at each end of the long side and folded as shown above.

The sizes for the Texture Chic Specialty Designer Series Paper (#158808) are - 3cm x 14.5 and 5cm x 14.5cm, and you need 2 of each. These were attached to the card.

I cut Gold Foil (#132622) which was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334), with a die from the Artisan Additions dies (#159172). This was adhered to the inside of the card.

For the belly band I cut Soft Succulent card (#155777) 4cm x 25cm and scored each end at 6.8cm from each end. I folded the belly band and taped it together. I then dry embossed this with the Splatters from the Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folders (#157980).

The sentiment from Eden’s Garden stamp set (#157823) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The hexagons were cut with the Beautiful Shapes Dies (#158046) and attached to the belly band. The butterfly was cut with a Brilliant Wings Die (#155523). This was attached with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional (#144108).

The embellishments the Festive Pearls (#159963) which are a sneak peek from the next mini catalogue.

Happiness Abounds Bundle

Hello my friends,

The Happiness Abounds Bundle (#158824) includes the Happiness Abounds stamp set (#159238) and the Blossoming Happiness Dies (#158823) and have been used here on this card.

The flower and leaves are from the stamp set. I heat embossed the flower with VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The leaves were stamped with Pear Pizzaz ink (#147104) onto Soft Sea Foam card (#147012). The flower and leaves were cut with the Blossoming Happiness dies. I lightly daubered the flower with Orchid Oasis ink (#159214).

Best Wishes, also from the same stamp set was stamped with Orchid Oasis ink and cut with a Sending Die (#159271).

The base card is Basic White (#159228) with the Orchard Oasis from the 2022-2024 In Color Designer Series Paper (#159253) for the card front. I cut the left edge of the rectangular Basic White card with another die from the Blossoming Happiness Dies. I lightly coloured this card using a Blending Brush (#102845) and Orchid Oasis ink.

I adhered Adhesive Sheet (#152334) to the Gold Foil (#132622) before cutting with dies from the Beautiful Shapes dies (#158046), then dry embossed these with the Splatters folder from the Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folders (#157980).

The leaves were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and the flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The reverse of the DSP was attached under the sentiment and the sentiment was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The Holiday Rhinestones were added to the card.

Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper

Hi friends,

I had some leftover cut out pansies from a previous project so decided to use them on this card. These pansies and leaves are from the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper (#155807) and cut with the co-ordinating Pansy Dies (#155680).

I cut the hexagonal shapes using the Beautiful Shapes Dies (#158046) and Gold Foil (#132622). The Gold Foil had Adhesive Sheet (#152334) adhered to the back. I then used the Splatters from the Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folders (#157980) to give texture to the hexagons. I cut a hexagon from the Abstract Beauty 4”x6” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#158039) and attached a gold hexagon on top.

The Basic White card front (#159228) was dry embossed with the Gingham Embossing Folder (#157627) and matted with Polished Pink card (#155711). The hexagons were attached to the card front. 

“Happy Birthday” from the Blossoms In Bloom stamp set (#152684) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555). The Heat Tool (#129056) was used to set the powder. The label from the Waves dies (#158840) was used to cut the sentiment. I threaded the Polished Pink Ribbon (#155714) through the label and wrapped it around the card front. The base card is Basic White.

The pansies & leaves were attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The beautiful Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#158130) were added to the card.

Symbols Of Fortune Specialty Designer Series Paper

Hello crafty friends,

The gorgeous Symbols Of Fortune 12”x12” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#157652) includes images on one side of each sheet with Gold Foil. However the other images are also beautiful. Sometimes it’s hard to decide which side to use as they are both irresistible. 

I cut the right front of the Basic White base card (#159228) with a zig-zag die from the Basic Borders Die (#155558). Then I cut the DSP with the same die and attached it to the card. I attached another piece of the DSP with the smaller floral images to the inside of the base card, but is visible because of the card front cut a bit shorter.

I fussy cut the larger flowers to attach to the card. I used a leaf from the Pansy Dies (#155680) to cut the leaves from Evening Evergreen card (#155575) and Soft Succulent card (#155777).

Happy Birthday is from the Celebrating You stamp set (#158028). This was stamped with Evening Evergreen ink (#155576) and cut with a die from the Beautiful Shapes (#158046).

The fussy cut flowers and sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). Clear Wink Of Stella(#141897) was used to add some glimmer to the flowers & leaves. The Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#158130) were added to the card.

Soaring Swallows Bundle

Welcome everyone,

The Soaring Swallows Bundle (#157810) was used for the bird & sentiment on this card. The bundle includes the Soaring Swallows stamp set (#157804) and the Swallow Dies (#157809) and when purchased as a bundle you save 10%.

The bird & sentiment were both stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555), then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). Both were cut with dies from the Swallows dies.

I dry embossed the Basic White card front (#159228) with the stripes from the Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folder (#157980), then attached the Abstract Beauty 4”x6” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#158039).

The gold card from the Brushed Metallics 12”x12” cardstock (#153524) and the pink card from the Supple Shimmer 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#158068) were both cut with a Beautiful Shapes Die (#158046). The gold circle, the sentiment and the bird were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

I daubered the card front with Polished Pink ink (#155712) before attaching it to the Basic White base card. The Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#158130) were added to the card.

Beautiful Shapes Dies

Hello crafty friends,

I am sure you are all like me and have lots of bits and pieces of designer papers that we just don't want to throw out as we may be able to use them on a project some day. Well this card is using bits and pieces and cut with the Beautiful Shapes dies (#158046).

The Expressions In Ink 12”x12” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#155464) was used for the card front and was also cut with one of the Hexagon dies from the Beautiful Shapes dies. I used the Brushed Metallic 12”x12” Cardstock (#153524) and the pink card from the Supple Shimmer Specialty Paper (#158068) to cut the other hexagons.

The Basic White card (#159228) was dry embossed with the splatters from the  Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folder (#157980) and attached to the DSP. The hexagons were attached to the card. “Happy Birthday” is from the Artistically Inked stamp set (#154542) and stamped with Magenta Madness ink (#153117). A die from the Bloom Dies (#155989) was used to cut the sentiment and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The embellishments are Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#151193).

TIP: You could use any shapes for this card. Just have a play with what you have and with various designer papers for a unique look.

Symbols Of Fortune Specialty Designer Series Paper

Hello,

The Symbols Of Fortune 12”x12” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#157652) has a beautiful range of designs including Gold foil. I have used 2 of the designs on this card.

I cut the designer paper with the crane using a hexagon die from the Beautiful Shapes Dies (#158046). Then I cut the Evening Evergreen card (#155575) with the larger hexagon and used this to matt the DSP. This was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to the Gold/gray DSP which was cut with a die from the Nature’s Thoughts (#153586). I used Soft Succulent card (#155777) and Evening Evergreen card on the Basic White base card (#159228).

The small Evening Evergreen hexagons were cut with dies also from the Beautiful Shapes Dies. The sentiment is from the Blessings Of Home stamp set (#157930) and stamped with Evening Evergreen ink (#155576). I used the Messages die (#154422) to cut the sentiment, then attached it to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108)

TIP: The Messages die co-ordinates with 2 stamp sets - Many Happenings (#155001) and Many Messages (#154510). Both these sets have a great range of sentiments. However you can also use sentiments from other stamp sets (which I have done on this card), and find the perfect cut out to suit that particular sentiment, so it’s a very versatile die.

Soaring Swallows Bundle

Hello stamping friends,

I have used all new products on todays card. I am loving so many of the products from the new Mini catalogue.

I dry embossed the Cherry Cobbler card (#121681) with the Hive 3D Embossing Folder (#157955). This was attached to the Basic White base card (#159228).

I stamped the Swallow from the Soaring Swallows stamp set (#157804) with VersaMark (#102283) and added the Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) which was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The bird and the leaves were cut with dies from the Swallows Dies (#157809). I used Soft Sea Foam card (#154902) for the leaves which was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334)

The Vellum is the 12”x12” Layering Designs (#157764). I attached this to the Cherry Cobbler card using the round Brads from the Round & Square Brads (#155570). The swallow was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The sentiment, also from the Soaring Swallows stamp set, was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink (#147083). This and the Gold Foil (#132622) were cut with the Beautiful Shapes Dies (#158046) and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

TIP: Brads are a great way of attaching Vellum to the card. I also added a small amount of tape to the back of the vellum behind the bird.

Sentimental Swirls

Hello everyone,

The Sentimental Swirls stamp set (#157996) has this beautiful swirl with a variety of smaller images of flowers, birds butterflies, leaves as well as some popular sentiments. The Flowers & Leaves punch (#155373) and the Strawberry Builder punch (#154239) from the annual catalogue also co-ordinates with some of the images. 

I stamped the swirl with VersaMark (#102283) onto Basic White card (#159228). Then I added the Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). I stamped the bird with Pale Papaya ink (#155670). Then I dry embossed the card front with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder (#156505). Unfortunately this folder hasn’t carried over to the current catalogue so now retired.

The white card front was then matted with Polished Pink card (#155711). I wrapped the White Glittered Organdy Ribbon (also now retired) around the card. The sentiment & one flower were stamped with Polished Pink ink (#155712) and the other flower with Highland Heather ink (#147103). The flowers were punched with the Flowers & Leaves punch. I used a Beautiful Shapes Die (#158046) to cut the sentiment. This was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#158130) were added to the flowers & sentiment.

TIP: Always stamp your image first if you are also dry embossing to give you the best image. The image won’t stamp properly if the surface isn’t smooth.
