Legendary Ride

Hello again,

I was going to make a masculine card using the Legendary Ride Bundle (#160763), however there are many ladies who are bike riders so I guess this is for anyone who love their bikes.

The bike was cut with the Legendary Ride Dies (#160762) using Basic Black card (#121688), Silver Foil Specialty (#156457) and Pumpkin Pie card (#108601). I had Adhesive Sheet (#152334) on the back of the Silver Foil & Pumpkin Pie card making it easy to attach these smaller pieces.

The scene is from the Ready To Ride 12”x12” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#160752) and matted with Pumpkin Pie card. The “maps” image is from the Vellum 12x12” Layering Designs (#157764). I attached this to the same size Basic White card (#159228), then matted it with Pumpkin Pie card and attached this to the Basic White base card.

The sentiment from the Legendary Ride stamp set (#160754) was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132707) and cut with a Stitched Rectangles die (#151820).

The bike and sentiment were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

TIP: When applying adhesive to vellum always avoid areas that can be seen as you will be able to see the adhesive through the vellum.

Blessings Of Home bundle

Hello everyone,

I think you know that I love to use embossing powders, so here is another card using the Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555).

I stamped the floral image from the Blessings Of Home stamp set (#157930) using VersaMark (#102283) and adding the Gold powder, then set this with the Heat Tool (#129056). The co-ordinating die from the Flowers Of Home Dies (#157938) was used to cut this.

The Pretty Prints Designer Series Paper (#159245) was attached to the Basic White base card (#159228). I added the Vellum Layering Designs (#157764) to the card front. The Gold Foil (#132622) was cut with the scalloped die from the Penned Flowers dies (#155557) and attached to the card.

The gold Simply Elegant Trim (#155766) was attached to the card and the stamped flowers were added with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Gold Adhesive- Backed Swirls (#161822) were added to the card.

“Thinking Of You” from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Calypso Coral ink (#147101) and cut with a Seasonal Labels die (#156299).

Cottage Rose

Hi friends,

One of my favourite stamp sets in the Annual catalogue is the Cottage Rose stamp set (#159040) and it’s easy to colour with your favourite colouring tools.

I stamped the floral image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). This ink is great when colouring with Stampin’ Blends as I have done on this card. The Stampin’ Blends used are Starry Sky (#159222) for the flower, Soft Succulent (#155521) for the leaves and Sweet Sorbet (#159224) for the buds. I also used the Color Lifter (#144608) to remove some colour from the flower to give more variation in the colours. I also used the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to add that little bit of sparkle to the flower. This was then cut with a Cottage Flowers Die (#159047).

The Vellum 12”x12” Layering Design (#157764) was matted with Starry Sky card (#159264). I attached this with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) on the 4 corners then added the 2022-2024 In Color Matte Decorative Dots (#159186) on top as the glue dots will show through the vellum.

I wrapped the Starry Sky Metallic Woven Ribbon (#159198) around the card front before attaching this to the Basic White card base (#159228).

“Happy Birthday” is also from the Cottage Rose stamp set and stamped with Starry Sky ink (#159212). A Frosted Flurry Die (#159811) was used to cut the sentiment. The flower & sentiment were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Masking technique with Cottage Rose

Hi friends,

Firstly I am just taking a break over the next 7-10 days but I will be back before the end of the month.

On todays card the masking technique has been used when stamping the flowers and leaves from the Cottage Rose stamp set (#159040). I was trying to make a card with just stamping but couldn’t resist adding some extra elements.

I used the medium size single flower and stamped this with Polished Pink ink (#155712). Then using masks I stamped the other 2 flowers. Then masking 2 of the flowers I stamped the leaves with Granny Apple Green ink (#147095).

“Happy Birthday” is from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) and also stamped with Polished Pink ink. I cut the scallops with a die from the Penned Flowers dies (#155557) using Polished Pink card (#155711). I cut the corner from the Basic White card front (#159228) and attached the scallops. This was then attached to the Vellum Layering Designs (157764), then attached to the Polished Pink card base.

TIP: When attaching vellum I like to only tape where it can’t be seen, so I used tape under the white card. I also added a Mini Glue Dot (#103683) in the bottom left corner, then added an embellishment on top from the 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds (#159185).

To make a mask, I stamp the image on a piece of Post it Notes and cut out the image. Cut on the line rather than leaving a border so the next stamped image is close to the previous stamped image. Place the mask over the stamped image so the next image doesn’t overlap the first image. (There is now a Masking Paper (#155480) which you can use for masking. Just waiting for mine to arrive.)

Soaring Swallows Bundle

Hello stamping friends,

I have used all new products on todays card. I am loving so many of the products from the new Mini catalogue.

I dry embossed the Cherry Cobbler card (#121681) with the Hive 3D Embossing Folder (#157955). This was attached to the Basic White base card (#159228).
I stamped the Swallow from the Soaring Swallows stamp set (#157804) with VersaMark (#102283) and added the Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) which was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The bird and the leaves were cut with dies from the Swallows Dies (#157809). I used Soft Sea Foam card (#154902) for the leaves which was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334)

The Vellum is the 12”x12” Layering Designs (#157764). I attached this to the Cherry Cobbler card using the round Brads from the Round & Square Brads (#155570). The swallow was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The sentiment, also from the Soaring Swallows stamp set, was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink (#147083). This and the Gold Foil (#132622) were cut with the Beautiful Shapes Dies (#158046) and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

TIP: Brads are a great way of attaching Vellum to the card. I also added a small amount of tape to the back of the vellum behind the bird.

Slim Line card & envelopes

Hi friends,

I hope you haven’t missed the lovely Slimline Envelopes (#157981) in the new Mini Catalogue. There are 15 envelopes in 3 colours with a design printed inside. The colours are White, Smoky Slate and Soft Succulent.

I cut a piece of Basic White card (#159228) 21cm x19cm and scored in half at 9.5cm (on the 19cm side) so this fitted neatly into the envelope.

I stamped the flowers and leaves from the Friendly Hello stamp set (#159990) from Sale-a-bration. The flowers were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink (#132708) and added the colour with the Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends (#155519). The leaves were stamped with Granny Apple Green ink (#147095). The flowers & leaves were fussy cut. The sentiment is from the Positive Thoughts stamp set (#151490) using Granny Apple Green ink, then cut with a die from the Beautiful Shapes (#158046).

The Gold leaves were cut with the Artistic Dies (#155371) using the Gold & Rose Gold 6”x6” Metallic Specialty Paper (#156844) which had Adhesive Sheet (#152334) adhered to the back. The flowers, leaves & sentiment were attached to the Vellum 12”x12” Layering Designs (#157764). I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) for the flowers & Mini Glue Dots (#103683) for the stamped leaves. This was then attached to the Granny Apple Green card (#147014) which had been attached to the base card. The heart embellishments are retired.

Don’t forget to decorate your envelope.

TIP: When using vellum I attach all the pieces to the vellum first before attaching it to the card, then only add adhesive on the back of the vellum where it won’t be seen from the front. It’s easy to see from the back where all the elements are already attached. The heart at the bottom left is also covering a glue dot.
