Sun Prints Suite Collection

Hi friends,

The Sun Prints Suite Collection (#158805) includes the Nature’s Prints Bundle (#158801), Sun Prints 12”x12” Designer Series Paper (#158790) and the Fern 3D Embossing Folder (#158804) and have used all these on this card.

The leafy fern was stamped with Gray Granite ink (#147118) and the flower was stamped with Starry Sky ink (#159212). Both these images are from the Nature’s Prints stamp set (#158793) and cut with the Natural Prints dies (#158800). The wreath from the Natural Prints dies was cut from Mother Of Pearl Specialty Paper (#157666). This was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) before cutting.

I attached the Gray Granite DSP from the Sun Prints DSP the the Basic White base card (#159228), then the blue DSP from the same pack was attached. I dry embossed the Basic White card with the Fern Embossing Folder and attached this on top of the DSP. Next the wreath was attached followed by the stamped fern & flower. These were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The Starry Sky Metallic Woven Ribbon (#159198) was added to the card and then the sentiment added. The sentiment is from the Nature’s Prints stamp set and stamped with Starry Sky ink. A die from the Natural Prints Dies was used to cut the sentiment. I used Pacific Point card (#116202) also backed with Adhesive Sheet, to cut the leafy stems from the same die set, and attached to the left side of the card.

Nature’s Prints Bundle

Hello crafty friends,

I do love some glimmer & shine on my cards so couldn’t go past the Mother Of Pearl 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#157666) and the 2022-2024 In Color 6”x6” Glimmer Paper (#159246) for this card.

I used the Sweet Sorbet from the In Color Glimmer Paper to matt the Mother Of Pearl Specialty Paper. I cut the wreath from the Natural Prints Dies (#158800) using the Parakeet Party Glimmer Paper from the same pack of In colors. I love the Ombre effect of these papers. I attached the wreath to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

The flowers are from the Nature’s Prints stamp set (#158793). These were stamped with Melon Mambo ink (#147051), Flirty Flamingo ink (#147052) and Sweet Sorbet ink (#159216).  The flowers were cut with the co-ordinating Natural Prints die. These flowers have a stem, so I cut this off as I only wanted the flower. The flowers were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

“Best Wishes..” from the Nature’s Prints stamp set was stamped with Sweet Sorbet ink and cut with another Natural Print die and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The pretty embellishments are from the 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds (#159185). Of course to add some extra shimmer to the card I used the Clear Wink Of Stella Brush (#141897) on the flowers.

TIP: I am sure you don’t want to waste the glimmer paper (which I used to matt the card front). Cut the card to the correct size, then cut a piece from the inside, leaving approximately 1.5cm border to create a “frame”. When you place the card front over this you won’t see that this piece has been removed. You can then use the extra piece for another project, so nothing is wasted.

Symbols Of Fortune Specialty Designer Series Paper

Hello & welcome again,

Here’s a pretty card using some of the beautiful Stampin’ Up! designer & specialty papers.

I used the Layering Diorama Dies (#155565) to cut the Mother Of Pearl Specialty Paper (#157666) - which is the top layer- and the next layer which is the Silver Foil from the Blue Foils Specialty Paper (#159983). The DSP in the background is from the Symbols Of Fortune Specialty Designer Series Paper (#157652). I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the Silver Foil to the DSP.

 

The sentiment is from the Celebrating You stamp set (#158028). This set has a great variety of sentiments for all occasions. I stamped this with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). A die from the Waves Dies (#158840) was used to cut the sentiment. The Glittered Organdy Ribbon (#156408) was thread through the sentiment label and wrapped around the card front. The card front was then attached to the Shimmery White Base Card (#121717).

The Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#144220) were attached to finish the card.

Mother Of Pearl Specialty Paper

Hi crafty friends,

I wanted to stamp an image on the gorgeous Mother Of Pearl Specialty Paper (#157666) so I used the StazOn Jet Black ink (#101406). This is a permanent ink for non porous surfaces so works perfectly on this paper.

I used the birds from Free As A Bird stamp set (#149468) and cut it with a die from the Hippo & Friends Dies (#153585). I then used the same die to cut a piece of Pacific Point card (#116202). I cut this in half horizontally and attached it the the back of the birds. 

Happy Birthday from the Art Gallery stamp set (#158201) was stamped with Pacific Point ink (#147098). I cut the sentiment and the Pacific Point card under the sentiment with a die from the Tasteful Labels Dies (#152886).

I dry embossed the Silver Foil from the Blue Foils Specialty Paper (#159983) with the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder (#152725) and matted this with the Pacific Point card. I coloured the White Glittered Organdy Ribbon (#156408) using a Blending Brush (#153611) and Pacific Point ink. This was wrapped around the card front before it was attached to the Basic White base card (#159228). The embellishments are the Elegant Faceted Gems (#152464).

The retiring products on this card are the Free As A Bird stamp set, Ornate Floral Embossing Folder, Tasteful Labels Dies and the Hippo & Friends Dies.

Birds & More Dies

Hello again lovely friends,

I am highlighting more of the retiring products today. Here I have used the Birds & More Dies (#152721).

I backed a piece of the Soft Succulent 2021-2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum (#155616) with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) before cutting with the die with the circular leaves. I then cut it with a circle from the Layering Circles Dies (#151770). I then cut the Mother Of Pearl Specialty Paper (#157666) with a scalloped circle die from the Layering Circles. The Circular leaves were attached to this.

The birds are cut from the Ombre Specialty Paper (#155784) using the Birds & More Dies.

The DSP from Bloom Where You’re Planted Designer Series Paper (#155696) was matted with Soft Succulent Shimmer Vellum, then attached to the Basic White Base card (#159228). “Happy Birthday” from the Blossoms In Bloom Stamp Set (#158283) was stamped with Evening Evergreen ink (#155576) and cut with the label die from the Bloom dies (#155989). I also cut the Mother Of Pearl Specialty paper with this die.

The circle was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Glue Dots (#103683) were used to attach the birds. The embellishments are from the (retired) Garden Gems.

The retiring products used here are Birds & More Dies, In Color Shimmer Vellum, Ombre Specialty Paper and Bloom Where You’re Planted Designer Series Paper.

Seas Dies

Hi everyone,

I was asked to make a card with mermaids. These cute mermaids are long retired but thought they were perfect when using with the current Seas Dies (#157857).

The mermaids are from the (retired) Magical Day stamp set. I stamped them using Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#159228). They were coloured with Stampin’ Blends - Polished Pink (#155520), Highland Heather (#154887), Daffodil Delight (#154883) were used for the bodies. I used SU1000 (#158465) for the face and arms, and SU600 (#159462) & SU700 (#159463) for the hair. These colours with the numbers are a variety of “skin tone” colours and range from light to dark. The co-ordinating (retired) Magical Mates Dies were used to cut the mermaids.

I adhered Adhesive sheet (#152334) onto the blue/green Supple Shimmer Specialty Paper (#158068) before cutting this with a Seas die (#157857). I dry embossed the beautiful Mother Of Pearl Specialty Paper (#157666) with the (retired) Seabed Embossing Folder. I attached the Supple Shimmer paper to the Mother Of Pearl card. I daubered the edges with Coastal Cabana ink (#147097) then attached this to the Basic White base card. 

I stamped the sentiment from the (retired) Friendly Hello stamp set and cut it with a Pretty Pillowbox Die (#156321). The sentiment and mauve mermaid were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and the other 2 mermaids with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

Daisy Lane

Hello again my friends,

These daisies are stamped from the Daisy Lane stamp set (#149325). I stamp 2 images for each flower and offset them for a lovely flower.

The flowers were stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink (#147052) and punched with the Medium Daisy punch (#149517). The flowers were assembled using Mini Glue Dots (#103683) at the centre of the daisy.

The Mother Of Pearl 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#157666) was embossed with the Gingham Embossing Folder (#157627), then matted with Flirty Flamingo card (#141421). The base card is Shimmery White cardstock (#121717).

The leaves are cut with a die from the Artistic Dies (#155371). I backed the Gold Foil sheet (#132622) with Adhesive Sheets (#152334) before cutting with the die, then the leaves were adhered to the Mother Of Pearl card. The daisies were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

“Hugs, Prayers & Love” is from the Positive Thoughts stamp set (#151490). Those 3 words are on one stamp. I wanted individual words, so I masked 2 of the words with a post it note, inked the other word, removed the post it note, then stamped the word on Shimmery White card. I did this with each word, then cut the words individually with an Ornate Frames die (#150664). These were then attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). I added the Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#158130) to each of the labels and the centre of the flowers.

Daffodil Daydream Bundle

Hi stamping friends,

What a pretty card for Mother’s Day or for any special person or occasion, using the Daffodil Daydream Bundle (#157795) and some beautiful DSP & specialty paper.

The daffodil image from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set (#157786) was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#159228). This was cut with the co-ordinating die from the Daffodil Dies (#157794). I used the Daffodil Delight (#154883) and Granny Apple Green (#154885) Stampin’  Blends to colour the flowers & leaves.

The sentiment is also from the same stamp set and stamped with Daffodil Delight ink (#147094) and cut with a die from the Tasteful Labels Dies (#152886). I used Daffodil Delight card (#121680) for the butterfly which was cut with a Daffodil die. I added Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to the butterfly and attached it to the sentiment with a Mini Glue Dot (#103683).

The striped DSP is from the Abstract Beauty 4”x6” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#158039) and attached to the Basic White base card. I cut the Mother Of Pearl 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#157666) with an Ornate Layers Die (#152726). The Daffodils were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The White Glittered Organdy Ribbon (#156408) was attached to the card under the sentiment and the sentiment was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). 

The beautiful Brushed Brass Butterflies (#158136) were added to the card.

Bouquet Of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder

Hi my friends,

The Bouquet Of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder (#157641) will emboss and cut at the same time. You can use the embossing folder alone or if you add the heart die to the folder, it will cut the heart at the same time.

Here’s a very easy card for a special occasion.

I embossed the beautiful Mother Of Pearl 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#157666). This was attached to the Real Red card (#106578). The heart was attached with a double layer of Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The card front was attached to the Shimmery White Base card (#121717).

The sentiment is from the Blessings Of Home stamp set (#157930) and stamped with Real Red ink (#147084) onto Shimmery White card. I cut this with a Stitched Rectangles Die (#151820) and attached it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The small hearts were cut with a die from the Sweet Hearts Dies (#157623) using the Red Glitter paper from the Ombre Specialty Paper (#155784) and attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

TIP: The beautiful shine on the Mother Of Pearl paper makes it ideal for a special occasion card and this would be great for a wedding card.

Supple Shimmer Specialty Paper

Hi again friends,

If you like some glitter on your cards you will want to get your hands on the beautiful Supple Shimmer 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#158068). This pack consists of pink and blue glitter paper and both have been used on this card. This was very difficult to photograph with all the glimmer so looks much nicer in real life.

Another beautiful paper is the Mother Of Pearl 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#157666) and I have used this for the background. This was attached to the Basic White base card (#159228). I adhered Adhesive Sheet (#152334) to the blue shimmer paper before cutting with the die from the Sea Dies (#157857) then attached this to the Mother Of Pearl Paper. The Pink Shimmer Paper was cut with the seahorse die from the Sea Life Dies (#155684). This was attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

“Thinking Of You” is from the Soaring Swallows stamp set (#157804) and stamped with Coastal Cabana ink (#147097). I cut this with a die from the Beautiful Shapes Dies (#158046) and also attached it to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Instead of adding embellishments I used the dots from the die cut.
