Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper

Hello again friends,

I have used 2 different packs of Designer Series Paper on todays card. The flower was fussy cut from the Abigail Rose DSP (#159037) and the other 2 designs are from the Tea Bouquet DSP (#158659).

I coloured the floral image with the following Stampin’ Blends - Fresh Freesia (#155518), Highland Heather (#154887), Polished Pink (#155520), Granny Apple Green (#154885), Parakeet Party (#159220), Daffodil Delight (#154883) and Blackberry Bliss (#154877).

I attached a smaller piece of the Granny Apple Green DSP  to the Fresh Freesia DSP. I punched the corner with the Very Best Trio Punch (#159878).

“Congratulations” is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set (#151595) and stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099). This was cut with a die from the Labels Aglow (#159551). This die was a bit longer than I wanted so I cut the sentiment with the words closer to on end of the die, then repositioned the die and cut a piece from the other end. I threaded the Gold Simply Elegant Trim (#155766) through the holes and wrapped this around the card front, then attached the card front to the Basic White base card (#159228).

 The sentiment and floral image were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The embellishments are the Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#158130). Of course I used the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) on the flowers for that bit of shimmer.

The retiring products used here are Abigail Rose DSP, Tea Boutique DSP, Peaceful Moments stamp set & Polished Pink Stampin’ Blends. The Fresh Freesia was due to retire but is being brought back with the colour revamp.

Designer Tags dies

Hi stamping friends,

The Designer Tags Dies (#159165) have been used today on this card. This is another of the retiring products from the Annual catalogue.

These dies were used to cut the floral image on the Basic White card (#159228), the 2 labels and the butterfly. I cut the floral image again with Pear Pizzaz card (#131290) which was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). I attached the Basic White card front to the Merry Merlot card (#147005). Then I added the pieces of the leaves into the corresponding cut outs.

The sentiment from the Peaceful Moment stamp set (#151595) was stamped with Merry Merlot ink (#147112). I used the Brushed Metallic Card stock (#153524) for the detailed die cut label and butterfly. The labels were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and the butterfly with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). 

The Brushed Brass Butterflies (#158136) were added to the card. The Gold Simply Elegant Trim (#155766) was threaded through the labels.

The retiring products are the Designer Tags Dies, Peaceful Moments stamp set, Merry Merlot card & ink & Pear Pizzaz card.

Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper

Welcome everyone,

I love the variety of Designer Series Papers available from Stampin’ Up!. I have used the Harvest Meadow 12”x12” DSP (#156494) today.

I matted the smaller piece of Designer Series Paper with Merry Merlot card (#147005) and the card front was attached to the Basic White base card (#159228). The leaves and branches were cut with the Intricate Leaves Dies (#153566). I adhered the Adhesive Sheets (#152334) to the cards before cutting. The cards used are Soft Suede (#119982), Mossy Meadow (#133683), Merry Merlot and Crumb Cake (#121685).

The Gold Trim from the Simply Elegant Trim (#155766) was attached to the card. The sentiment was stamped with Merry Merlot ink (#147112) and this was cut with a Stitched So Sweetly die (#151690). The edges were daubered with Merry Merlot ink, then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Beautiful DSP makes it very easy to make a lovely card.

Encircled In Beauty Dies

Welcome Ladies & Guys,

I used the Encircled In Beauty Dies (#155546) to cut the designer paper and gold foil.

The Designer Series Paper is the 6”x6” Neutrals and I used the Merry Merlot colour. After cutting with the Encircled In Beauty Die I attached it to the same size piece of Basic White card (#159228). This was then attached to the Brushed Metallic cardstock (#153524). The Gold Shimmer Ribbon (#156470) was wrapped around the cardfront before attaching this to the Basic White base card.

The sentiment from Peaceful Moments stamp set (#151595) was stamped with Merry Merlot ink (#147112) and cut with an Ornate Frames die (#150664) and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

I cut a piece of Merry Merlot card (#147005) with a Layering Circles die (#151770) and attached this in the middle of the circle which was cut out by the detailed die. The next layer was also cut with another of these dies with the Brushed Metallic cardstock. This was attached on top of the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I cut the Merry Merlot heart with a die from Warm Wraps (#153521), then added a retired heart embellishment which worked perfectly for this card.

Many Layered Blossoms

Hi,

Something different with an all white card, except for the sentiment, for this beautiful sympathy card.

The card stock is Basic White (#159228). I embossed the cardfront with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder (#156505) which will be available from the new Mini catalogue from 3rd August. I then attached an Adhesive Sheet (#152334) to the back of another piece of Basic White card and cut the 2 floral images using dies from the Many Layered Blossoms (#153582) and attached them together, then to the card.

The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set (#151595) and stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was cut with a Hippo & Friends Die (#153585) and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Free As A Bird

Hello again my friends,

I love these cute little birds from the Free As A Bird stamp set (#149468) which I have coloured with Stampin’ Blends.

I stamped the birds and the flower using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink (#132708). The Stampin’ Blends used to colour these images are Poppy Parade (#154958), Daffodil Delight (#154883), Pool Party (#154894), Pale Papaya (#155519), Fresh Freesia (#155518), Granny Apple Green (#154885) and Crumb Cake (#154882). 

I used a die from the Stitched With Whimsey Dies (#155314) to add the stitching to the Whisper White card front (#159228). This was attached to the Granny Apple Green card (#147014). The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set (#151585) and cut with a Meadow Die (#155852). I threaded the Gold trim from the Simply Elegant Trim (#155766) through the label and wrapped it around the card.  The sentiment was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). 

The leaves from the Forever Fern stamp set (#152559) were stamped with Granny Apple Green ink (#147095) and cut with a die from the Forever Flourishing dies (#152714). These were attached the the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The flower was fussy cut, then attached to the card.

The Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897) was used to add some glitter to the birds. The red embellishment is from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#150457).

Painted Poppies Bundle

Hi & Welcome,

Yes, I do love the poppies in the 2020 Mini catalogue. There are 2 bundles with poppies, designer series paper and lots more. Here I have used the Painted Poppies Bundle (#c153827).

I used Whisper White card (#106549) for the base and the card front. For the background I sprinkled the Granny Apple Green Pigment Sprinkles (#149663) onto the card, then normally I would spritz with water, but this time I spritz it with Frosted White Shimmer Paint (#147046) which gives a lovely shine to the card, as well as activating the sprinkles. I used the Heat Tool (#129056) to dry the card. Remember, you only need a small amount if pigment sprinkles - a little goes a long way. The Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper (#151324) was attached to the card front as well as the Real Red 3/8” Double-Stitched Satin Ribbon (#151155). The poppies from the Painted Poppies stamp set (#151599) were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Real Red card (#106578). The leaves were stamped with Granny Apple Green ink (#147095) onto Granny Apple Green card (#147014). The poppies and leaves were cut with the Painted Labels Dies (#151605). I added some glitter to the centre of the poppies with the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897). The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set (#151595) and stamped with Real Red ink (#147084) and cut with another of the Painted Labels Dies. The sentiment and the 2 small poppies were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Peaceful Moments Bundle

Hi & welcome,

The January-June 2020 Mini catalogue and Sale-a-bration has begun today. You have seen some sneak peaks the last few days, and here is another card made with the beautiful products from the mini catalogue.

The dies from the Poppy Moments Dies (#151594) were used to cut the flowers and the leaves. These dies allow layering so easy to have different colours to create the flowers and leaves. The cardstock I used for the flowers are Purple Posy (#150887), Blackberry Bliss #133682) and Basic Black (#121688). The leaves used Pear Pizzaz (#131290) and Garden Green (#108605). I cut a piece of Whisper White card (#106549) with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies (#151690), then embossed it with the Layered Leaves 3D Embossing Folder (#152321). The strip of Designer Series Paper is from the Peaceful Poppies pack (#151324). Happy Birthday from the Peaceful Moments stamp set (#151595) was stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink (#147092), then cut with a die from the Stitched So Sweetly dies. I glued the leaves and flowers together with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309) and Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the larger flower and sentiment to the card. I added some glitter to the “stamins” using the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897), which doesn’t show very well in the photo.
