Scrapbook page

Hello friends,

Unfortunately I don’t get a lot of time to do much scrapbooking so thought it was time to do a page.

The base page is Very Vanilla 12”x12” cardstock (#144239). I cut a variety of the In Good Taste 12”x12” Designer Series Paper (#152494) with 2 sizes of the Hippo & Friends Dies (#153585) and taped them to the page.

The photo was matted with Night Of Navy card (#106577), the next layer is Crumb Cake card (#121685) followed by another Night Of Navy card.

The Brushed Metallic 12”x12” cardstock (#153524) was cut with the dies from the Layering Hugs (#155860). I cut a label from the Hippo & Friends dies which I will add the journaling to, and this was placed over the detailed die cut. The small leaves and flowers are also cut with dies from the Layering Hugs. I had adhered the Adhesive Sheets (#152334) to the back of the Metallic Foil before cutting. This makes it very easy to attach these fine cut-outs to the page.

Gorgeous Leaves Bundle

Hello & welcome,

The Gorgeous Leaves Bundle (#158609) consists of the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set (#153365) and the Intricate Leaves Dies (#153566).

I cut the 3 detailed leaves from Mossy Meadow card (#133683), Merry Merlot card (#147005) and Early Espresso card (#121686). All these were backed with Adhesive Sheets (#152334) before cutting with the Intricate Leaves dies.

The other leaves were stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed. For the 2 small leaves I used Gold Emboss Powder and for the larger leaf on the right I used Copper Emboss Powder. For the other 2 leaves I mixed the Gold, Copper and Silver Emboss Powders together and was happy with the results. These Gold, Silver & Copper powders are all included in the Metallics pack (#155555). After setting these leaves with the Heat Tool (#129056) they were cut with the Intricate Leaves Dies.

“Happy Birthday” is from the Artistically Inked stamp set (#154542), stamped with Merry Merlot ink (#147112) and cut with the Messages Die (#154422).

The base card is Very Vanilla (#106550). The 2 pieces of DSP are from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (#152494) and Merry Merlot card was used to matt the smaller piece.

The stamped leaves were taped to the card except one small gold leaf which was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The sentiment was also attached with Dimensionals.

In Good Taste Designer Series Paper

Hello friends,

Here’s a masculine card using “scraps” of designer series paper, and I am sure you have plenty of those small pieces which you just don’t want to throw away.

The Basic White card front (#159228) was dry embossed with the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder (#149643) and attached to the Old Olive card base (#106576). I cut the pieces of In Good Taste DSP (#152494) using Stitched Rectangles Dies (#151820) and attached them to the card front.

I stamped the leaves from Rooted In Nature stamp set (#148217) on Basic White card using Old Olive ink (#147090). The leaves were then cut with the Nature’s Roots Dies (#151786). The sentiment from the Many Mates stamp set (#152633) was also stamped with Old Olive ink and cut with a Stitched Rectangles die and matted on a piece of Old Olive card. Stampin Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the sentiment and leaves.

The retiring products are -
Rooted In Nature stamp set
Many Mates stamp set.

Enjoy your day.

Embossing Paste

Hi everyone,

I have created the bricks for the background using the Shimmery White Embossing Paste (#145645).

I used a retired mask for the bricks and applied the Embossing Paste on a piece of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (#152494). To apply the paste I used a Palette Knife (#142808) and wiped the paste over the mask onto the DSP. This doesn’t take long to dry, so just set it aside till all the other elements are ready to assemble.
I attached Adhesive Sheet (#152334) to one side of the Granny Apple Green card (#147014) before cutting the grass using a Friendly Silhouettes Die (#149546). The 2 images from the Garden Shed stamp set (#149247) were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708), then coloured with Stampin’ Blends. The colours are Poppy Parade (#154958), Mango Melody (#154888), Granny Apple Green (#154885), Rococo Rose (#154900), Highland Heather (#154887), Smoky Slate (#154904), Bronze & Ivory (#154922), Soft Suede (#154906), Crumb Cake (#154882) & Pumpkin Pie (#154897). These were fussy cut and attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).
Happy Birthday is from the Many Mates stamp set (#152633) and stamped with Granny Apple Green ink (#147095), then cut with a Hippo & Friends Die (#153585). The small dragonfly was punched with the Dragonflies Punch (#154240) from the (retired) Black Glitter Paper.
The base card is Very Vanilla (#106550).

I hope your weekend is a relaxing one (perhaps spending time in the garden)!!

Shadow Box

Hi again friends,

I have made this cute shadow box for my nephew’s baby boy, allowing to add a photo on the left and I will add his birth details on the label on the right. I have used current and retired Stampin’ Up! products.

The background is from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (#152494). There is also another lighter piece of this DSP at the bottom. The animals are stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) on Basic White card (#159228). The stamp sets are Animal Outing (retired), Zany Zebras (#152536) and Wildly Happy (#149408). I coloured the Giraffes with Ivory Stampin’ Blends (#154922), Pumpkin Pie (#154897) & Crumb Cake (#154882). The other animals had some extra colour added with Smokey Slate Stampin’ Blends (#154904) and the little bird (on the rhino) with Daffodil Delight (#154883) and Poppy Parade (#154958).
The kangaroo, rhino and giraffes were cut with the co-ordinating Animal Friends Dies. The Elephant and Zebra were fussy cut. The label for the information was cut with a Hippo & Friends Dies (#153585).
The fence was cut with a die from the Garden Gateway Dies (#151512). It is actually the gate but I cut the arch off so I just had a fence. I used Soft Suede card (#119982) for the fence and for the matted pieces. The grass was cut with a Friendly Silhouette Die (#149546) from Granny Apple Green card (#147014). I had Adhesive Sheets (#152334) on the back of this before cutting with the die.
The dragonflies are from the retired Detailed Dragonflies Dies and I used the (retired) Black Glitter paper. “Jack” and the card to attach a photo is Very Vanilla (#106550).

Have a great day!!

Garden Shed

Hello again friends,

It’s time for a masculine card, as it’s been a while since I did one. Today I have chosen the Garden Shed stamp set (#149247).

I stamped the garden shed with Soft Suede ink (#147115) onto Basic White card (#159228). I used Stampin’ Blends to colour the image. These are Granny Apple Green (#154885), Old Olive (#154892), Smokey Slate (#154904), Crumb Cake (#154882), So Saffron (#154905), Poppy Parade (#154958), Pool Party (#154894) and Ivory (#154922).
This was attached to a piece of the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (#152494). I stamped “Happy Birthday” from Many Mates stamp set (#152633) with Soft Suede ink. The Basic White card and Soft Suede card (#119982) were cut with a Curvy Die (#154319) and attached to the cardfront. The base card is Basic White. The dragonfly was punched with the Dragonflies Punch (#154240) from Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) and I attached this to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

Hope you are having a crafty day!!

Wreath Builder Dies

Hello friends,

I haven’t done any stamping on this card which is a little usual for me. I have used the Wreath Builder Dies (#152722) and the Well Written Dies (#151816).

I have used the Brass Foil Sheet (#153057) and Shaded Spruce card (#147006) for the wreaths which were cut with the Wreath Builder Dies. I attached these to the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (#152494) using Mini Glue Dots (#103683). Under the DSP is Shaded Spruce card and the base card is Very Vanilla (#106550). The flowers, also cut with Wreath Builder dies, were cut from Melon Mambo card (#119980), Mango Melody card (#147013) and Pacific Point card (#116202). I cut 2 of each colour and assembled them using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and used Mini Glue dots to attach them to the wreath. The flower centres were also cut from the Brass Foil and attached with Mini Glue Dots. Using Adhesive sheets (#152334) on the back of the Brass Foil, I cut “Thanks” using the Well Written Dies. The actual word is “Thanksgiving” but I only wanted “Thanks” so cut off  the rest of the word. I added a trio of Gilded Gems (#152478) under the sentiment.

I hope you are having a relaxing weekend.

Very Versailles stamp set

Hi everyone,

I have used 2 of my favourite things on this card - butterflies and purple.

I stamped the leafy branch from the Very Versailles stamp set (#149275) with Pear Pizzaz ink (#147104) onto the Designer Series Paper from In Good Taste (#152494). The DSP was matted with Highland Heather card (#147010).  I wrapped the 3/8” Tricolor Ribbon (#149708) around the card front before it was attached to the Whisper White card base (#106549). The sentiment and border image are both from Very Versailles stamp set. I used Highland Heather ink (#147103) and Smokey Slate ink (#147113). I punched this with the Posted For You punch (#152709) and then attached it to a piece of Highland Heather card. The sentiment was then attached using Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The butterflies are from the Positive Thoughts stamp set (#151490) and cut with the co-ordinating die from the Nature’s Thoughts Dies (#153586). I used VersaMark (#102283) and Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109131) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I coloured the butterflies with Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends (#154887). Stampin Dimensioanls were used to attach the butterflies and I added the Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#144220) to the butterflies and sentiment.

It’s the weekend already. Where do the weeks go?

By The Dock masculine card

Welcome everyone,

Today’s masculine card is made with the By the Dock stamp set (#c151622) and the co-ordinating Dockside Dies (#151618).

The base card is Whisper White (#106549) and the Terra-Cotta Tile card (#150890) is the next layer, followed by the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (#152494). For the boat I dry embossed a piece of Whisper White card with the Subtle 3D embossing Folder (#151775), then stamped the boat with Gray Granite ink (#147118). I would normally stamp first but I wanted the stamped image not to be perfectly stamped for an old worn look which is what I achieved. The boat and oars were cut with the Dockside Dies. “Happy Birthday” is also from the By The Dock stamp set. I used the Tasteful Labels Dies (#152886) to cut the 3 labels for the sentiment. Gray Granite card (#147008) was used for the bottom label, Terra-cotta Tile card for the next label and Whisper White for the top label. I added the corners from the Antiqued Corners & Slides (#152471).

Enjoy your day.

Game On

Hi,

Here’s another card using the Game On stamp set (#15246), and great for the card enthusiasts. The card and dice images are both from this set.

The base card is Whisper White (#106549) and the DSP is from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (#152494). I stamped the cards with Real Red ink (#147084), using the Stamparatus (#148187). I then re-stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and added Clear Embossing Powder (#109130) and set this with the Heat Tool (#129056). This Whisper White card and the Real Red card were both cut with dies from the Stitched So Sweetly dies (#151690). “It’s Your Day” is from the Many Mates stamp set (#152633) and also stamped with Real Red ink. The die to cut this is from the Tasteful Labels Dies (#152886). The dice were stamped with VersaMark and Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109131), then fussy cut and attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

Enjoy your day!

Ornate Style

Hi everyone,

These flowers on today’s card are from the Ornate Style stamp set (#c152572).

I stamped the floral image twice, using VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129), then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I fussy cut the outline of one image and 3 of the flowers from the second image. I used Stampin’ Blends to colour the images. Th colours used are Soft Sea Foam (#154902), Flirty Flamingo (#154884), Calypso Coral (#154881), Purple Posy (#154896), Pool Party (#154894), Daffodil Delight (#154883) and Pumpkin Pie (#15487). I also coloured the Pearl Basic Jewels (#144219) with these Stampin’ Blends. I attached the 2 Daffodil Delight flowers and the Pumpkin Pie flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) over the larger flower image. The card front is from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (#152494). I also gold embossed the edges of the DSP by daubering VersaMark along the edges and adding the Embossing Powder. The Gold  Foil Sheet (#132622) was cut with a die from the Ornate Borders Dies (#152724) and attached to the card with Adhesive Sheets (#152334). I am so pleased to have these available again as it makes it so much easier to adhere the detailed cut outs to your project. Just adhere a piece onto the back of your cardstock before cutting. “Happy Birthday” is from the Blossoms In Bloom stamp set (#p152684) and this was also gold embossed. I used a Stitched Rectangle Die (#151820) to cut the sentiment.

I hope you have a great weekend, stay safe & keep crafting!!

Tasteful Touches stamp set

Hi Ladies & Guys,

I seem to be attracted to the feather from the Tasteful Touches stamp set (#c152562) as I have used it on many of my cards recently, and yes I am using it again.

The feathers, flower and sentiment are all from this same stamp set. I stamped the feathers and flower using VersaMark (#102283) and sprinkled them with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109131) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). These were then fussy cut. The In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (#152494) was attached to Rococo Rose card (#150888), then I wrapped the Rococo Rose 1/2” Scalloped Linen Ribbon (#149704) around the cardfront. This was then attached to the Whisper White base card (#106549). The sentiment was stamped with Rococo Rose ink (#150080) and this was cut with a Tasteful Labels Die (#152886). The sentiment, flower and one feather were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#144220) were added to the sentiment.

Have a great day & keep crafting!!
